Roberts Plywood has just acquired 3600+ year old Fossilized Italian Oak logs. These logs will be available for purchase in 2016. They come with carbon dating certificates verifying the authenticity of each log. These logs will be milled into live edge slabs along with sections of the stump and root. We are currently taking deposits for this once in a lifetime find. For more info please call Scott.

It's not fossilized. It's mummified (or submerged if it was under water.) Fossilized would mean that the wood would be gone and replaced by mineralization, often known as petrification. Leave a Reply. |
